I recommend the school wholeheartedly

I recently took a Thermals/XC course with Marko at Flumen - and recommend the school wholeheartedly. I always felt like I was in good hands -- both in the air and in theory class. With regards to theory - Marko is fabulous at explaining complex concepts in a simple, intuitive way. He understands the crux of your questions and answers them concisely. In the air - Marko is fantastic at watching over all the students - commenting when necessary (for safety or learning) but also breeding independence. He helped me gain confidence-building experience and gave so much practical feedback. Flew my longest flights to date (in both time and distance), and reached cloud base for the first time! Helpful debriefs after all the flights - and great variety in the flight plans. Marko and his partner Alma are a fun duo and they love what they do. I would definitely fly with Flumen again.
